Just say it.

Tap the mic. Speak naturally. "Two bites of cheesecake and half a side of mac and cheese." MacTrak parses it into items, looks up verified nutrition, and logs the meal. The whole flow takes about three seconds.

  • No keyboard. No search results. No drop-downs.
  • Handles multi-item meals in one breath.
  • Falls back to typing if you'd rather.

02 · Verified, not invented

Real numbers from real sources.

Most apps hand you AI-guessed calories with no way to know if they are right. MacTrak shows you exactly where each number came from. Official for the verified restaurant database. Estimate, clearly labeled, for everything else. You always know what you can trust.

  • Restaurant data sourced from the databases dietitians rely on.
  • Home cooking labeled as estimate, never disguised as official.
  • Every line item in your day carries its source badge.

03 · Real-life portions

Two bites? Half a side?

Real eating is not a full menu portion. Tell MacTrak "two bites of cheesecake" or "half a side of mac and cheese" and it scales the verified numbers to match. The base data is still from a verified database. AI only does the portion math you would otherwise eyeball.

  • "Half a," "a couple bites of," "skipped the bun" all parse cleanly.
  • Modifiers like "no ketchup" or "extra cheese" adjust the verified base, they do not replace it.
  • Drill into ingredients to see what is actually in the bowl.

FAQ

The honest answers.

How accurate is it?+
Restaurant items pull from a 26,000-row verified database that dietitians trust. Home-cooked meals use AI estimation, clearly labeled as an estimate, so you always know what you can trust.
Do I need to scan barcodes?+
No. Voice covers the vast majority of logging. Label scan is available for packaged foods, but it is not required.
What if I only ate part of something?+
Just say so. "Half a slice of cheesecake." "Two bites of the brownie." "A few fries off my friend's plate." MacTrak takes the verified base from a real database and scales the numbers to match what you actually ate, not what the menu lists. This is the part most trackers get wrong.
What about home cooking?+
Voice-log it like a restaurant ("chicken breast, rice, broccoli") and MacTrak estimates it from a verified food database. Save favorites so future logs are one tap.
Is my data private?+
Yes. Single-user accounts, no data sold or shared with third parties. You can export or delete everything at any time.
When does Pro launch?+
Soon. Billing is the last piece. Join the waitlist above and you'll be first in.
Is there a native app?+
MacTrak runs as a web app today. Open it in any modern browser, including mobile Safari and Chrome. Native iOS and Android wrappers are on the roadmap.
